From it’s early beginnings in the 1950’sPJA Williams has always undertaken extension and alteration projects, these can yield dramatic transformations to properties providing additional and better use of space as well as upgrading the services to modern standards, all at a relatively modest cost compared to a rebuild.
In common with our new build homes we offer the same level and quality of fit out, including the same options on High Tech and Green technology systems, which now even include car charging facilities! We believe with this strong and long standing track record we are able to offer our clients something extra.
By their nature there are different challenges when undertaking alteration works, compared to new builds, particularly on older properties. This is due mainly to the hidden issues which no initial survey could detect.
However, we have the in-house skills and experience gained over many years, this allows us to anticipate many of these the issues adapting the designs as work progresses.
Drawing on our skills we are able to do this in the most effective way to minimise effects on both the design and cost.
